The latest chapter came after a wait of twenty days instead of ten, but it was worth it as we got to learn more about the new characters. We also got to see how Kim Dan has changed considerably in just a matter of a few chapters.

Jinx Chapter 30 started with Kim Dan recollecting his thoughts on the previous chapters. It was a form of a short flashback to get the reader get up to speed. Whether it was due to the break author had taken is hard to say, but it did play an important part in the story.

From avoiding of Jaekyung due to the disgust in his stomach to avoiding him out of affection. He has developed a form of a crush on the MMA fighter but doesn’t realize it yet. However, it seems that he will get to face those feelings forefront in the upcoming chapters as there might be a new rival in town.

The new character shown in the last chapter is an idol who likes to fool around for a fling. The man was having a spar with Jaekyung, but at the same time, he was enjoying it too. Though, his affection for Jaekyung was short-lived as his eyes fell on Kim Dan, who was beside the corner. The idol got to talk to him and fell head over heels for him in a moment.

Jinx Chapter 31 will show us things from Jaekyung’s perspective, and we might get to learn whether or not he cares about the weak doc. However, the story has never been clear about what his true intentions are, just that he does things on a whim. But the upcoming chapters should give us a clear answer.

Though the emulation of feelings by jealousy is petty to some, it is one of the tropes that is never dying, and we will see that play out here as well.
